4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one is a kind of Broad-spectrum Bactericide,DCOIT biocide can be widely used in the plastic industry such as Paint,Coating,Polyethylene,polyurethane. Also can be used in the field like sewage,leather,paint,Paper making, Wooden,adhesive and inks. it can instead of the chemical compound like Poisonous Organic arsenic.
It can effectively kill cyanobacteria, basidiomycetes, black aspergillus, fusarium, curvularia, green sticky mildew, etc. When used, it can be added at any stage of production. The recommended amount is 5 to 15% (w/w).
Performance Characteristics:
1) High-efficiency mildew and algae-repellent agent, with special effects on bacteria and algae
2) The solubility in water is low, so the effect is lasting.
3) Good compatibility with marine paint. Insoluble in water, soluble in oily marine paint.
4) Easy to operate, can be added in any process.
5) Stable under strong UV and acid rain conditions.
Precautions：
Operational instruction must be strictly followed. Avoid any contact with the skin. Wear protective clothes, goggles, and rubber gloves in operation. Once any contact with the skin happens, wash the skin immediately with plenty of water and soaps; when it splashes into eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water and buffer solutions.
Storage and Transportation:
With a shelf time of one year when stored at room temperature in a dark, air-tight, and moisture-proof place
Package & Storage:
The product is packaged in 20kg/drum or 180kg/drum or 750kg/drum,and then wrapped in pallets to ensure the cargos are not damaged during transportation.
